- Seeing many people at 3 different events make a response to Jesus or a recommitment to him - Introducing the work of IcFEM in 3 new locations - Running an entire evangelism day in a local unit - Building a mud house for a disabled man - Spending time at an orthopedic clinic for children with disabilities playing with the children and encouraging the parents - Learning about mission as a hand up not a hand out - Speaking with 200 coffee farmers who are currently getting a bad deal for their crop (10p per kilo which can be retailed in the UK for £20 per kilo) and beginning a co-operative movement with them to help them get a better deal - Seeing cataract removal eye surgery and seeing people who were literally blind having their sight restored - Running sessions in a week long holiday club including crafts, games and bible studies - Sharing testimonies and preaching at 5 different Churches - Giving out clothes collected by a community to needy people within that community - Painting and organising a shop to sell Christian books and gifts in Kimilili town centre to resource the work of IcFEM - Visiting a local market where traders financed by IcFEM are doing well thanks to micro-finance investment - Visiting a community school where children can get a good education, food and accommodation - Washing the feet of all the IcFEM staff at their morning devotions and seeing the Holy Sprit work powerfully through that act of service - Receiving heaps of hospitality (and food!) from all sorts of people and being able to share with them as we were blessed
