Friends on Mission: Learning Community

Some people feel called to make a difference in their own town or village. Others sense a broader calling—to encourage, equip, and empower ordinary Christians across a whole region, nation, or people group.

Friends on Mission is a 10-month learning community for people who want to respond to that broader call. Together, participants explore how God can use them to bring hope, life, and faith far beyond the places they already know—raising up leaders and communities wherever He sends them.

About Friends on Mission:

Friends on Mission offers friendship, community, learning and the opportunity to do mission together. It  helps participants discover God’s plan for their lives – exploring call, strategy and support – as they step into His mission and inspire others to serve.

It will enable you to:

  • Gain a clearer sense of God’s call to be on mission and your next steps.
  • Learn from Dignity’s experience of equipping everyone, everywhere to create everyday community that brings others to Jesus and overcomes disadvantage.
  • Develop a strategy and vision for a particular area or people group.
  • Learn how to help others be on mission, make disciples and establish new communities of faith, releasing others to have an impact wider that you can alone.
  • Take practical steps in your community, share Jesus and begin to gather people.
  • Learn how to live as a missionary, stay connected to God and embrace a life of faith.
  • Think about developing a financial support and building a partnership team.
  • Take part in practical mission in different contexts.

Your involvement in our learning community is about more than personal growth—it's a chance to help bring transformation to communities. We invite you to invest in our wider work by setting up a regular gift to Dignity, of any amount, for the duration of the programme.

While there's no fee to participate,* some activities offered will incur a cost that you will need to cover. Dignity is committed to helping you shape the experiences around your means, and we’ll walk with you if fundraising is needed.

Email Becky to find out more or express interest: becky@dignityonline.org.uk

(*While we don’t charge a fee, it costs Dignity around £1,100 per person to run this course. We share this so you can see the value of what you’re receiving—and the generosity that makes it possible.)
