We are looking for people who can help create a space where people can explore what God is calling them to do, grow in confidence, learn from and encourage one another, and take steps of faith to make a lasting difference.

About Friends on Mission
Friends on Mission is a 10-month learning community for people responding to God’s call to mission. Through friendship, teaching, mentoring and time together, participants explore their calling, develop a vision for mission and take practical steps to live it out.
Friends on Mission equips people with the heart, confidence and practical tools to pioneer everyday mission by everyday people in their own country and context.
Imagine every Christian, in every village and town across sub-Saharan Africa playing their part in God’s mission - sharing Jesus, making disciples, building community and making a long-lasting difference where they live.
Through Friends on Mission, participants are equipped with the heart, confidence and practical tools to make this a reality in their own country and context.
Friends on Mission was a place where my faith was built, I felt part of a community and we shared the same heart. It was encouraging to be around others who were living their lives to build mission and that I wasn’t the only one doing it. I feel less fearful and overwhelmed about the future, I am peaceful that he is using my present moment to prepare for the future.

What does a facilitator do?
As a facilitator, you’ll journey alongside participants—helping them learn, ask good questions, listen to God, share their experiences and encourage one another
You don’t need to have all the answers, and you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be part of a team of facilitators, with training, teaching materials and ongoing support from Dignity.
The team of facilitators will work together to:
• Build friendship and community where people feel known and encouraged.
• Facilitate monthly online gatherings using teaching and resources provided by Dignity.
• Mentor a small group, helping participants explore their calling and next steps.
• Create an in-person gathering where people can learn, pray, share stories and dream together.
• Connect learning with mission, helping people put what they are discovering into practice.
